Using a highlighter doesn’t mean you have to look like you’re wearing highlighter.
To give beauty writer Sarah Ferguson a wearable, daytime glow, make-up artist Lisa mixed a medium-sheer CC cream base with the Erborian Glow Crème, a creamy highlighting primer she used for all of the looks.
‘The CC cream is is going to completely even out her skin tone, and the Glow Crème will give her that wearable glow,’ Lisa explained.
The artist completed the look by using an eyeliner pencil to thicken the base of Sarah’s top lash line to make her eyelashes appear fuller and tapping a peachy-nude gloss on her lips for a pretty wash of color.
‘Highlight on fleek’, thankfully, is no longer a thing, but the quest for the perfect glow remains 100 percent on trend.
A glowing complexion, however, is not one size fits all. Some people prefer subtle, lit-from-within radiance, while others opt for a full-on strobe of light across their cheeks.
Dailymail.com teamed up with New York City-based make-up artist Lisa Rinaldi who showed us how one product can give you the exact level of glow you’re looking for depending on how you use it and what you pair it with.
