Pune screening of BANFFCentre Mountain Film Festivalin India for year 2017 as a part of the World Tour by The BANFF Centre Canada will be held onJune 11 at Balgandharva Rangamandir, Jangli Maharaj Road.Award winning adventure films shot at the most exotic locations of the world with action cameras and drones on adventure sports like rock climbing, kayaking, skiing, paragliding, trekking, mountain biking will be screened in the festival.
The Festival began more than 39 years ago in 1976 in the small Rocky Mountain town of Banff, Alberta. What began as a one-day festival of climbing films, has now a nine-day event in Banff and a year-round film tour which encompasses about 840 screenings on all continents.
After screening in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Surat, Mussoorie and Nasik the festival screening it is being held in the city.
Next screening will be held at Ahmedabad, Asansol, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Leh, Lucknow, Nagpur, Vadodara
