Dr Mattew Klein wants everyone to know that when they come to see him, they will be treated as an individual. Because everyone is different, they all do not have the same problem, even if the diagnosis is the same. He promises to listen to his patients, develop a plan, and take care of them from start to finish.
Dr. Klein is a graduate of Duke University, Durham, NC where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Cum Laude). In 2002, Dr. Klein graduated with distinction from the George Washington University Medical School. He subsequently completed his residency and internship at the University of Virginia Health System, Charlottesville, VA. Dr. Klein is certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Klein joined Tenet Florida Physician Services as an Electrophysiologist in 2015. From 2010 – 2015, he was a Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Electrophysiology Consultants, Inc., in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Between 2006 and 2008, he was a medical staff physician at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC.
He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology, and the Tenet Florida Heart and Vascular Network.
Dr. Klein received the Castle Connolly America’s Top Doctor in 2018. He received the EPS Award for Outstanding Cardiology Fellow, at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007, and earned Graduation with Distinction at George Washington University Medical School in 2002.
Dr. Klein’s clinical interests are Ablation of Complex Arrhythmias, Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy, Hybrid Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation, and Implantation of Cardiac Devices.
The treatments and procedures that Dr. Klein provides are Atrial Fibrillation Ablation, Catheter Ablation, Hybrid Convergent Procedure, Implantable Cardioverter,Defibrillator (ICD), Pacemaker Procedures,Subcutaneous ICD, and Tilt Table Testing.
