Ingredients

  • half punnet of blackberries
  • 1 raw beetroot
  • 1 cm ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
  • apple juice

Directions

  1. Scrub a raw beetroot well and trim away any roots and stalks, roughly chop and put it into a blender or smoothie maker.
  2. Add half a punnet of blackberries and ginger then top up with apple juice.
  3. Whizz until smooth.
  4. Add a little more apple juice or water to dilute, if it’s too thick.
