Carol Wei, a highly successful business woman, emigrated from China to America in 2007. Residing in Olathe, KS, she is the founder and president of the Mid-America Asian Culture Association, a nonprofit organization with goals to cultivate interest and attention for Asian Cultures and to connect, assist and promote Asian-owned businesses. She plans MAACA activities, attends many business events and cultural activities, contacts Asian business owners and secures corporate sponsors to help her accomplish the goals and vision of MAACA.

In 2014, Carol organized, managed and produced the first MAACA “Asian Cultural Festival.” Fifty-two Asian-owned businesses participated, displaying their products and services to 2000 attendees, as they built new relationships. Fifteen Asian country organizations were festival partners. The festival showcased Asian arts, foods, activities and performances. More than 2000 people attended and newspapers and television stations covered the event.
