LG is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone the LG V30+ in India on December 13 at an event in New Delhi as the company has started sending out media invites for the same. The new device LG V30+ is a marginally revised version of the LG V30, which was launched at the IFA 2017 in August this year. The main difference between LG V30 and LG V30+ is on the storage front. The V30 comes with a 64GB storage, while the V30+ is backed by a 128GB storage. Apart from this most of the specifications remain the same.

In terms of specifications, the LG V30+ sports a 6-inch 18:9 Quad HD+ OLED FullVision display with 2880×1440 resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and carries a 4GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage and can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The V30+ runs the latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat with UI-UX 6.0+ on top. In terms of optics, the LG V30+ features a dual camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel (f/1.6) primary lens and a 13-megapixel (f/1.9) 120-degree wide-angle lens. The selfie camera comes with a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) wide-angle lens. The smartphone is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support. Additional features of the LG V30+ will include Daydream compatibility, wireless charging support, IP 68 Water/ Dust resistance and MIL-STD-810G durability.

While the previous LG V series smartphones like LG V20 sported a secondary display at the top, the LG V30+ will come with a modified version of it, wherein the secondary display will appear as a floating bar which can be moved around the screen and can be closed when not in use. Being a flagship, the LG V30+ will take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone 8.

The price of the smartphone has not been announced yet, we can expect it to be available for purchase in the vicinity of Rs 45,000.
