In early February, Air France welcomed in a La Prairie beauty treatment center within its international lounge at JFK Airport’s Terminal 1.
La Prairie, the skincare specialist company, has joined in collaborating with the airline as its new wellness partner.
“As one of the leaders in luxury skincare, La Prairie was the natural choice for Air France’s new spa partner in the JFK lounge,” said Stephane Ormand, Vice President and General Manager, Air France KLM, in a media statement. “We are committed to enhancing the airport experience for our customers, and by partnering with luxury brands like la Prairie we continue to elevate the lounge offering.”
Within the Air France lounge at JFK, the 30 square meters, or about 323 square feet, the spa consists of two private treatment rooms and sitting areas.
It is equipped with two private beauty booths with a massage table for the longer treatments, like in a real beauty institute. An area dedicated to rapid beauty treatments is also available for customers.
The lounge is accessible to Air France’s La Première and Business customers and Flying Blue Platinum and Gold members.
Air France customers must reserve these treatments with the Air France agents on arrival in the lounge. The services are offered at no cost to La Prairie beauty care professionals and the brand’s high-end products.
There are three treatments choices. They are the “Art of Rejuvenation” treatment, which lasts 30 minutes and is reserved for La Première customers only. Then, there are both the “Art of Illumination” treatment and the “Art of Indulgence” treatment. The latter two treatments are available at 20 or 30 minutes.
Customers must reserve these treatments with the Air France agents on arrival in the lounge.
